‘The Wooden Doll’ to head to McGuffin filmfest

Iranian short flick ‘The Wooden Doll’ has been set to go on screen at the McGuffin Youth Film Festival in Russia.

The Iranian Youth cinema Society reported that ‘The Wooden Doll’, written and directed by Mohammad-Reza Misaqi, will be screened at the 5th edition of the Russian event.

‘The Wooden Doll’ is starring Nabi Mohammadi.

The film was previously presented at the 12th International Inter University Short Film Festival in Bangladesh, the Jharkhand International Film Festival in India, and the BUEIFF Channel film festival in Argentina.

The McGuffin filmfest is an international film festival for teens. It has been held annually in Moscow since 2016.

The upcoming edition of the event will take place on October 20-25.
